Luna- a quark of asterisks giving birth over a dead porch drain stuffed with cat hair and peeled skin. Screaming, I laugh my way to the bank and burn it down. Older now, though wisdom is not to be had or smelled, I leap at the tought of another ruth-less (where is Ruth anyway?) revenge soaked dream, where all those who failed me and whom I failed lurk in terror, hiding from the notes I aim in their direction. With no direction, I act out a fantasy of myself, and move on to pay bills, making love with a limpish rod of power that only dreams of itself when exhaustion sets in. i am waiting, again, and again, and yet again. As if some corporate entity was suddenly going to erase what darkeness takes for its own. So full of hate, there is nothing left but a blind and nonsensical love, directed like notes into a thick pudding-like void. Is anyone? Anyone at all? Any quotes that heal? OK, so obsession rules. At least it's a rope to hang onto.

I was in NY a couple of weeks ago -- picked up "Armed Observation/Out To Bomb Fresh Kings" from Bruce at Downtown Music Gallery (coolest record store I've ever seen.) I've been listening to it almost non-stop; occasional breaks are filled with Pale Nudes "Wise To The Heat" and the Meridian Arts Ensemble's "Anxiety of Influence" (nice to see Joe and Ray from the MAE in this guestbook...) I love finding new musicians/groups to obsess over, and Dr. Nerve is my newest obsession. Now I must order all your CDs from Bruce! Keep up the good work.

Sometime in 1994 I purchased 2 D.N. vinyl lp's, Out To Bomb Fresh Kings and Armed Observance, for .50 each. Both in mint condition and kept that way to this day. I haven't listened to them for several years. I spent some time today listening to my vinyl records, including these 2. I decided to look you up on the Net and was wonderfully surprised to learn that there's still Nerve! But my friends still don't understand me. Anyway, thanx!
